Mark Bangfields (マーク·バンフィールド, Māku· Banfīrudo) is an apprentice chef hailing from an unknown land. It's known that the country he came from was poor and ravaged by war. He was found by a man named Jin Kisaragi, becoming his apprentice in cooking after he fed him some food, discovering the joys in food and how it's made. Along his travels, he meets many new people and travels to many new places. Along the way, he meets Danny Hellstar, his best friend and rival, the latter's dream is to become the best Bishoukuya he can be. Thus, they decided to be partners, signing a contract dictating so. Venturing from land to land, his growth as a chef continues onward. Though, this is all in the eyes of the reader, as much more will be revealed. He is one of the main characters of the author's storyline - Toriko: Holding To A New Perspective.
